Application Checklist 

TO APPLY TO ACTs: ascent you may fill out the application by: 

  1. Downloading this PDF, print and send to the address below. 

  2. Filling it out online

  3. If you are a current ACTS Essentials student, click the "Essentials Alumni Application" button below. 


In order to process your application we must receive each of the items listed below. We have provided a checklist for your convenience. Please make sure all sections are filled out completely and that supplementary items are sent with your application.

The tuition for Ascent is $3,475. If accepted, a non‐refundable matriculation fee of $250 is due two weeks after your acceptance, (please pay this by check). A $100 "early bird" discount is given to all students who pay their tuition in full two weeks before the program start date!


Checklist

  • Section A. (Personal Information)

  • Complete Section B (Financial information and Program Agreement. Be sure to sign the bottom).

  • Prayerfully answer the questions in Section C. (Supplemental Questions)

  • Complete Section D (Confidential Health Form. Physician's Release MUST BE DOWNLOADED AND PRINTED! Physician must fill out top half, applicant must sign the bottom half). NOTE: If your medical forms are taking longer than expected to complete, go ahead and send the rest of the application in and then the medical forms as soon as they're ready.

  • Mail or Email anca@gcmacts.com a recent, wallet-size photo of yourself.

  • Sign Outreach Agreement.

  • Distribute the Confidential Reference Form to three references (either online) or downloading and printing this PDF). Give one to your pastor/youth pastor, one to a teacher or employer, and one to a mature Christian friend. Provide your reference with a pre-addressed stamped envelope if sending by mail.

  • Provide a recent work resume.

  • Provide a writing sample of approx. 500 to 700 words (1.5 to 2 double-spaced typewritten pages, 12 pt. font). This may be a selection from an academic paper, an article, a web post, etc.

 

We must have your non-refundable application fee of $40 (if by check payable to GCM) by January 5th. A late fee of $25 applies for applicants registering after this deadline.

Don't let finances be the barrier to pursuing the Ascent program. If you're concerned about the tuition cost there may be scholarships available.
